COSMOSDB Administrator

Key Responsibilities Lead the design, setup, and optimization of Cosmos DB environments for production and non-production use. Collaborate with project teams to define and implement database architecture, indexing strategies, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain Terraform scripts and automation tools for environment provisioning Ensure compliance with internal technical standards, naming conventions, and security protocols Provide incident and change management support during go-live and stabilization phases Deliver hands-on training sessions and create documentation to upskill team members on Cosmos DB operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Act as a liaison between development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure smooth integration and knowledge transfer. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including MongoDB and SQL APIs. Strong understanding of Request Units (RU), indexing policies, and schema-agnostic design Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and cloud-native deployment practices. Ability to interpret and apply naming conventions and governance standards in enterprise environments Experience in training and mentoring technical teams. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred candidates would also meet the following criteria: * Microsoft Certified: Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty Experience with ServiceNow & Azure DevOps To find out more about Huxley please visit www.huxley.com
